We are a friendly, established consultancy practice providing a variety of services to the construction industry.

We are looking to expand our long serving “in-house” team of Designers. As a result of repeat business from our valued clients, together with recommendations from fellow consultants, we require a talented Architect who will become an integral part of our design team going forward.

In terms of the day to day role this really would be very diverse and include items such as:

  • Visiting site to establish scheme requirements
  • Liaising with other design consultants and professional team members to create innovative designs that meet the brief
  • Preparing designers risk assessments
  • Preparing reports and presenting
  • Liaising with survey companies
  • Preparing drawings and specifications
  • Participating in peer reviews with other company members
  • Attending / chairing design/ client meetings
  • Liaising with contractors during post contract phase
  • Inspecting and snagging construction works
  • Ensuring project close out

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills/ experience:

  • Recently qualified Part III or a few years post Part III, looking for a new challenge
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is necessary. Experience using Revit would be advantageous.
  • A range of all-round experience (we tend to work on smaller projects, hence the candidate would be expected to work on a few different projects at different stages)
  • Experience on a completed project (we would want someone who knows how a building goes together)
  • Ability to use SketchUp and Photoshop would be advantageous
  • Rail experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Conversant with CDM regulations
  • Holds UK driving licence

The above is a list of skills/experience that we’d be looking for, however we are looking for someone whole is keen to work alongside our project managers and quantity surveyors to deliver schemes that meet all aspects of the clients brief.
