Profile Overview
TTPP were engaged to provide a range of professional services for the expansion of car park and access facilities at the busy Bury St Edmonds railway station.
The project centered around maximising the available station parking to support the recognition of sustainable rail travel and to make the station a more accessible environment through step free access and increased accessible parking.
The project objectives were successfully delivered, more than tripling the existing parking provision via a new car park to the rear of the station, introducing further accessible bays to the north and providing step-free access from the new car park directly onto Platform 2.
