Profile Overview

This forward-thinking trial project saw London’s Streatham Hill depot turned into a local source of renewable energy.  The project installed 526 solar panels installed on the depot’s roof with the aim of generating over 200,000 kW hours of electricity and saving around 44 tonnes of carbon a year.

The energy generated will be used by both the train depot and other businesses in the area looking for zero-carbon electricity.
