Profile Overview
As part of an ongoing schedule of improvement works, TTPP were commissioned by Transport for London to provide waiting facilities at this busy Central London station.
Due to very limited space on the site and tight contraints, a suspended structure was required at the side of the existing platform, with the new waiting room itself supported onto a steel framework which in turn sat onto a piled foundation with concrete ground beams sitting in the existing railway embankment.
TTPP undertook full design, project management and quantity surveying services and were responsible for obtaining all of the permissions required to implement this very challenging build.
