TTPP were appointed by Govia Thameslink Railway to provide Project Management and Quantity Surveying services to support the delivery of critical Thameslink / Railplan 20/20 Infrastructure enhancement works.
The scheme provides new stabling facilities for Class 700 Thameslink multiple units and has been delivered over several phases to minimise the impact on the local rail infrastructure and to align with timetable changes.
The works provide new Controlled Emission Toilet servicing equipment , Sanding and Tanking facilities. When completed the scheme will also have a new Train Washing Machine. The first image is taken during construction and the second shows new sidings nearing completion.
Infrastructure enhancement works, including the provision of new stabling and servicing facilities (CET, tanking, sanding, CWM), relocation of a MDU, the construction of a new cycle path along with major modifications to an existing road / pedestrian bridge complete the core project scope.
